Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.3.3.LI.1 - Identify career pathways in Sports Excellence

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

List at least ten different career pathways available in sports excellence, both on-field and off-field.
Distinguish between direct sports careers (athletes, coaches, referees) and indirect sports careers (sports medicine, sports journalism, sports management).
Match specific sports careers with the skills, qualifications, or interests required for each pathway.
Identify at least one internationally recognised Ghanaian or African sports professional and state the career pathway they pursued.
Reflect on their own interests, strengths, and abilities to identify two sports excellence career pathways they could personally explore.
