Learning Objectives
Indicator: 1.3.3.LI.1 - Identify career pathways in Sports Excellence
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- List at least ten different career pathways available in sports excellence, both on-field and off-field.
- Distinguish between direct sports careers (athletes, coaches, referees) and indirect sports careers (sports medicine, sports journalism, sports management).
- Match specific sports careers with the skills, qualifications, or interests required for each pathway.
- Identify at least one internationally recognised Ghanaian or African sports professional and state the career pathway they pursued.
- Reflect on their own interests, strengths, and abilities to identify two sports excellence career pathways they could personally explore.
