Indicator: 1.1.3.LI.2 - Discuss the classification of human disease

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

classify human diseases into at least four major categories based on their causes and characteristics
give at least two examples of diseases for each major classification category
explain the difference between communicable and non-communicable diseases using local and international examples
distinguish between acute and chronic diseases, and between hereditary and lifestyle-related diseases, with relevant examples
create a concept map or chart that organises the major classifications of human diseases in a clear, logical structure
