Learning Objectives

Indicator: 3.2.2.LI.3 - Design and install simple wind and bioenergy systems.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Design a simple wind energy system on paper, selecting appropriate components and arranging them in the correct order.
Design a simple bioenergy system (biogas digester) on paper, specifying the main components and their arrangement.
Construct and install a working model of a simple wind turbine or bioenergy system using locally available materials.
Justify design choices by explaining how each component contributes to the overall function of the system.
Work collaboratively in teams to install a simple system, following safety procedures and quality checks.
