Learning Objectives

Indicator: 2.3.2.LI.1 - Explain the meaning and characteristics of globalisation

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define globalisation in their own words with reference to at least two different dimensions (economic, political, social, or cultural).
  2. Identify and explain at least four key characteristics of globalisation with concrete examples.
  3. Analyse how globalisation affects Ghana’s economy, culture, and governance, using at least one local example for each.
  4. Work collaboratively in mixed-ability and gender-balanced groups to research and present findings on globalisation using online and print resources.
  5. Evaluate both positive and negative aspects of globalisation from a Ghanaian perspective, demonstrating critical thinking and respect for divergent views.
