By the end of the lesson, learners can:

- Explain how the executive organ exercises authority in implementing national policies.
- Distinguish between the political executive and the permanent (civil service) executive in Ghana.
- Assess at least two challenges facing the executive organ of government in Ghana and propose possible solutions.
