Learning Objectives

Indicator: 2.1.3.LI.2. By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  • Identify and describe at least five different types of multimedia content found on websites, including graphics, audio, video, and plug-ins.
  • Analyse a given website and list the various multimedia elements it contains, explaining the purpose of each element.
  • Discuss how digital media (text, voice, video, instant messaging, screen sharing) are used for communication in different online contexts.
  • Justify the relevance of different types of websites in various life contexts (education, business, entertainment, news, government).
  • Evaluate the advantages and limitations of using multimedia content on websites for communication purposes.
