Learning Objectives
Indicator: 2.1.2.LI.1 - Discuss the use of technology in education, healthcare, manufacturing, government, finance, entertainment, transport, and business.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least two specific technologies currently used in each of the eight sectors: education, healthcare, manufacturing, government, finance, entertainment, transport, and business.
- Explain one benefit and one challenge of technology use in at least four of the eight sectors, using real examples from Ghana where possible.
- Discuss how the same technology (for example, mobile phones or the internet) serves different purposes across different sectors.
- Work collaboratively in mixed-ability groups to present a short analysis of technology use in one assigned sector, including both merits and challenges.
- Reflect on their own technology usage patterns and connect them to the broader sector-based applications discussed in class.
