Experiential learning and Collaborative learning: In mixed-ability groups of 3 to 5 let learners through brainstorming come out with their experiences in the weights of objects in water and in air.
- Let learners determine the upthrust experienced by the wood in water and in kerosene and go ahead to state Archimedes' principle.
- Let learners determine the ratio of the upthrust in kerosene to that experienced in the water.
Grouping must cater for vulnerable groups of learners. Opportunity for all to participate.
