By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least five different types of thermometers and name the thermometric substance used in each.
- Describe the key physical features of each thermometer type, including its range, sensitivity, and construction.
- Match each thermometer type to its appropriate real-world application or use.
- Justify the choice of a particular thermometer for a given practical scenario, giving reasons based on its features.
- Compare and contrast the advantages and limitations of at least two different thermometer types.
