By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State at least four key principles that guide effective rehabilitation programmes.
- Explain at least three factors that positively affect the success of rehabilitation.
- List at least three factors that can hinder an individual’s willingness to seek rehabilitation for disorders.
- Explain the principle of dual diagnosis treatment in the context of rehabilitation.
- Demonstrate the rehabilitation process through practical demonstration and peer observation.

Demonstrative Learning: Learners observe their facilitators demonstrate the process of rehabilitation and work in turns to demonstrate the same. Assessment (3.1.3.AS.8): Level 1: List three factors that can hinder an individual's willingness to seek rehabilitation for disorders. Level 2: Identify two factors that contribute positively to the effectiveness of rehabilitation? Level 3: Explain the principle of dual diagnosis treatment in the context of rehabilitation.
