Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.4.3.LI.1 - Retrieve information from multiple print sources, organise and present it in writing.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Retrieve relevant information from at least two different print sources (e.g., textbooks, newspapers, encyclopedias) on a given topic.
  2. Organise retrieved information using a graphic organiser such as a story map or a simple outline.
  3. Demonstrate correct use of punctuation marks (full stop, comma, question mark, exclamation mark, quotation marks) when presenting information in writing.
  4. Present organised information in a coherent written passage of at least one paragraph, using their own words.
  5. Work collaboratively in mixed-ability groups to evaluate and refine each other’s written presentations for clarity and accuracy.
