Learning Objectives

Indicator: 3.4.3.LI.1 - Écouter ou regarder et réagir à une présentation ou une conversation sur l’Internet et la gestion des informations (Compréhension de l’oral).

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify key vocabulary related to the Internet and information management when heard in a spoken presentation or conversation (Level 1 Recall).
Listen to or watch a presentation about using the Internet to retrieve information and answer comprehension questions in French with at least 70% accuracy (Level 2 Skills of conceptual understanding).
Distinguish between a true and a false piece of information heard in a conversation about the Internet, justifying their choice briefly in French (Level 3 Strategic reasoning).
React appropriately to a speaker’s opinion about Internet use by agreeing, disagreeing or asking a follow-up question (Level 2 Skills of conceptual understanding).
Evaluate a speaker’s message about responsible Internet use and express in one or two sentences whether the advice is useful for Ghanaian youth (Level 4 Extended critical thinking).

This lesson focuses on listening comprehension (Compréhension de l’oral). Learners will build on vocabulary from earlier weeks about communication and transport, and will prepare for Week 18 where they will produce their own spoken discussions. In this lesson, they receive input through listening and viewing, then react to what they hear.
