Learning Objectives

Indicator: 3.2.4.LI.3 - Lire et réagir à un texte simple sur les obligations des citoyens envers l’État (Compréhension des écrits).

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read a simple French text on citizens’ obligations to the State and identify at least four distinct obligations mentioned in the text.
Answer comprehension questions in French (who, what, where, why) based on the text, using complete sentences.
Match key vocabulary words from the text (impôts, bénévolat, lois, patrimoine, vote) with their correct meanings or examples.
React personally to the text by stating, in one or two French sentences, which citizen obligation they find most important and why.
Recall and list, from memory, the main obligations of a citizen discussed in the text, using correct French expressions.
