Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.3.4.LI.2 - Discuter des éléments de la littérature dans un texte (Production et interaction orales).

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify and name at least four elements of literature (personnages, intrigue, espace, temps, narrateur) in a short literary text presented orally.
Explain in French, in 2 to 3 sentences, what each identified element means and how it functions in a text.
Discuss, in small groups, the elements of literature found in a short passage, using appropriate French vocabulary (le personnage principal, le cadre, le déroulement, etc.).
Respond orally to teacher and peer questions about the elements of a text, giving reasons for their answers in simple French sentences.
Play a vocabulary game on literary terminology, matching French terms to their definitions or examples with at least 80% accuracy.
