Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.3.4.LI.1 - Discuter des éléments de la littérature dans un texte (Production et interaction orale).

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify at least four elements of literature (characters, plot, setting, time, narrator) in a short French text read aloud by the teacher.
Name each element of literature in French using the correct terminology (le personnage, l’intrigue, l’espace, le temps, le narrateur).
Discuss in small groups how the characters, plot, setting and narrator function in a given short text, using simple French sentences.
Respond orally to questions about a text, justifying their answers with references to specific elements from the text.
Play a vocabulary game on the terminology of literary elements, matching French terms to their definitions and examples.
