Learning Objectives

Indicator: 1.1.2.LI.4 - Écrire un texte pour exprimer un souhait (Production et interaction écrites).

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify and classify at least 10 expressions of wishes (souhaits), including “Je souhaite”, “Je voudrais”, “J’aimerais”, and “Bonne chance”, from a given list or text.
Write a short WhatsApp message or text of 3 to 5 sentences expressing a wish for a specific occasion (birthday, exam, journey, new year).
Write a postcard or short letter of 6 to 8 sentences to a friend or family member, expressing at least three different wishes using correct verb forms (souhaiter, espérer, vouloir, aimer).
Revise and improve a partner’s written text by checking for correct use of wish expressions and appropriate vocabulary.
Demonstrate correct use of definite and partitive articles when writing about things wished for (e.g., “Je voudrais du thé”, “J’aimerais la paix”).
