Learning Objectives
Indicator: 3.6.6.LI.2 - Discuss how the benefits of globalisation can be maximised for Ghana’s development
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least three benefits Ghana currently derives from globalisation, using examples from trade, technology, and investment.
- Explain at least two challenges that limit Ghana from fully enjoying the benefits of globalisation.
- Discuss strategies Ghana can adopt to maximise the benefits of globalisation in the areas of economic competitiveness, cultural preservation, and sustainable development.
- Assess the role of government, businesses, and citizens in ensuring Ghana gains more from globalisation than it loses.
- Work collaboratively in groups to present practical recommendations for maximising globalisation’s benefits for Ghana’s development.
