Indicator: 2.6.1.LI.1

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define local production and local consumption in their own words using correct terminology.
  2. Identify at least four made-in-Ghana products and state the region or community where each is produced.
  3. Explain the relationship between local production and local consumption using a simple example from their own community.
  4. Give reasons why buying locally produced goods matters for Ghana’s economy and for their own families.
  5. Work cooperatively in pairs and small groups to share ideas about local products, demonstrating respect for diverse economic backgrounds.
