Lesson notes

Learning Objectives

Indicator: 2.2.1.LI.2 - Describe the processes for the removal of waste from the human body.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  2. Explain how the lungs remove carbon dioxide and water vapour as excretory products.
  3. Describe how the skin removes sweat containing urea, salts and water.
  4. Sequence the pathway of urine from the kidney to the exterior, naming each structure involved.
