Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.9.1.1.3 - Lire, comprendre et réagir à un texte dans lequel on donne et exécute des ordres et des interdictions. (Réception écrite / Compréhension des écrits)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read aloud a short French text containing orders and prohibitions with correct pronunciation and intonation.
Identify and list at least five orders (ordres) and five prohibitions (interdictions) from a given text.
Explain what each order or prohibition in a text means in English or simple French.
React appropriately to written orders and prohibitions by performing the action or explaining the rule, for example saying “Je ne fume pas” after reading “Ne fumez pas!”
Match written signs and notices (panneaux) in French to their meanings and possible locations.
