Learning Objectives

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify and understand numbers from 10 to 100 when heard in a spoken conversation or audio recording.
Recognise the French words for the four operation signs (plus, moins, multiplié par, divisé par) when heard in context.
Respond correctly to oral questions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of two-digit numbers.
Distinguish between similar-sounding French numbers (e.g., soixante-deux and soixante-trois, quatre-vingt and quatre-vingt-un) through auditory discrimination exercises.
Extract key numerical information (prices, quantities, totals) from a short listening passage set in a market or shop scenario.
