Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.4.2.1.2 - Demander le chemin/Donner ou indiquer l’itinéraire à quelqu’un (Production orale et Interaction orale)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Ask for directions to a public place in French using correct question forms (e.g., “Quel est le chemin pour aller à…?”, “Par où faut-il passer?”)
Give clear directions using imperative verb forms (Tournez, Prenez, Continuez, Traversez) and sequence markers (la première rue, la deuxième rue)
Participate in a role-play dialogue where one person asks for directions and another responds, demonstrating the polite “vous” form
Record a short voice message giving directions to a specific location, using directional vocabulary accurately
Respond appropriately to a partner’s directions by repeating the route back to confirm understanding
