Through interactive read aloud, introduce the concept "more than", "less than" or "same as" in comparing objects. Collect a quick data on the different languages groups in the classroom. Represent the numbers with milk tins. Use comparative language "more than", "less than", or "same as" to describe the relationship between the milk tins collected for the languages. Ask the question "Which language group has more members? Or: "Which groups have same members?
