By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the main idea and the writer’s point of view in a given text.
- Compare their own ideas and views with the points of view presented in the text.
- Peer review a partner’s ideas and offer constructive feedback on them.
- Combine ideas from the text with their own thoughts to expand the writer’s perspective into fuller, richer statements.
- Present an expanded perspective on a text topic orally, using clear and complete sentences.
