1. Demonstrate how to use measuring and marking out tools and equipment for making artefacts/products in the following areas: - Food laboratory (Kitchen) - Sewing - Building - Wood work - Metal work/plastic 2. Select and use appropriate measuring and marking out tools to make the following products: - Wooden chair - Sheet metal funnel - Setting out a wall - Dresses-use knowledge in body measurement to make dresses/blouses - Meals-use knowledge in portion control to prepare meals for two persons 3. Prepare a chart showing the activities and the appropriate tools used. 4. Display charts in class for appraisal. 5.Demonstrate how to care for and maintain measuring and marking out tools used for making artefacts/products E.g. - Wash and clean tools after use - Oil metal parts of tools
