• Home - parents, uncles, aunties, elder siblings, etc.
• School - headteacher, teachers, prefects, etc.
• Community - chiefs, assembly members, priests, imams, opinion leaders, queenmothers, etc.
2. Using a video clip or pictures, identify how people come to have authority. E.g., scriptures, elections, traditions, being a parent, old age, and constitution.

Right use of authority
• To promote the welfare of others, especially those in need

• To be a role model for others to emulate, etc.
Wrong use of power
• To amass wealth at the expense of others
• To molest people
• To help only our relatives and friends
• To take advantage of the weak and vulnerable in society, etc.
