Learning Objectives
Indicator: B8.1.2.1.1 - Listen to a level-appropriate dialogue/discussion by more than one speaker attentively and identify key information
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Listen attentively to a dialogue between two or more speakers and note the main message of the discussion.
- Identify the mood and tone of speakers in a dialogue based on their choice of words and manner of speaking.
- Compare notes from a first listening with key issues noted during a second listening and list any new information captured.
- Infer implicit meanings from the vocabulary and language used by speakers in a dialogue or discussion.
- Present key information from a dialogue orally, showing clear organisation of ideas gained through attentive listening.
