Lesson notes
Learning Objectives
Indicator: B8.2.3.1.7 - Create and present a Publisher document (flyer, advertisement, invitation cards, business cards)
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Plan the content and layout of a one-page Publisher document (flyer, advertisement, invitation card, or business card) by listing its purpose, target audience, and key information.
- Create a one-page Publisher document using text and pictures, building on the skills learned in earlier weeks (inserting text, adding and modifying pictures, changing orientation and margins).
- Arrange text boxes, pictures, and shapes on the page so the document is neat, readable, and visually attractive.
- Present their completed document to the class, explaining the creative choices they made and how the document meets its intended purpose.
- Work with group members to combine individual parts of a project into a single complete document, sharing tasks fairly.
