Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.2.3.1.7 - Create and present a Publisher document (flyer, advertisement, invitation cards, business cards)

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Plan the content and layout of a one-page Publisher document (flyer, advertisement, invitation card, or business card) by listing its purpose, target audience, and key information.
Create a one-page Publisher document using text and pictures, building on the skills learned in earlier weeks (inserting text, adding and modifying pictures, changing orientation and margins).
Arrange text boxes, pictures, and shapes on the page so the document is neat, readable, and visually attractive.
Present their completed document to the class, explaining the creative choices they made and how the document meets its intended purpose.
Work with group members to combine individual parts of a project into a single complete document, sharing tasks fairly.
