Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.2.3.1.6 - Add and modify text

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Add text to a Publisher document using text boxes and existing placeholder text.
  2. Select text and modify its font type, size, colour, and style (bold, italic, underline).
  3. Apply different font types to different sections of text within the same document.
  4. Use the Format Painter tool to copy font formatting from one part of the document to another.
  5. Evaluate which font type is appropriate for a given purpose (for example, a heading versus body text).
