Learning Objectives
Indicator: B8.2.3.1.2 - Create and save a new document from a blank or pre-designed template
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Open MS-Publisher and identify the start screen showing blank publications and pre-designed templates.
- Create a new document from a blank publication by selecting the “Blank 8.5 × 11” option.
- Create a new document from a pre-designed template by browsing the template gallery and choosing a suitable category (e.g., Flyers, Invitation Cards, Brochures).
- Save a Publisher document with an appropriate file name using the Save As dialog box.
- Differentiate between a blank publication and a pre-designed template by comparing the starting content of each.
