By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define file management and drive management in their own words.
- Explain what disk defragmentation is and state why it improves computer performance.
- Describe the process of file compression and demonstrate how to compress and extract files.
- Explain the purpose of partitioning a hard disk and state at least two benefits of having multiple partitions.
- Apply at least two file management techniques (compression, defragmentation, or partitioning) to organise files on a computer.
