Learning Objectives
Indicator: B8.4.2.2.1 - Show ability to summarise a prose read in class.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and write down not more than 20 key words and phrases from a short Arabic prose passage read in class.
- Locate the important facts, main statements and central ideas in a given Arabic prose text.
- Produce a brief written summary in Arabic of a prose passage, using the key words identified.
- Apply the skill of summarising to a short Arabic text about everyday life, keeping the summary within the word limit.
