Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.3.3.1.1 - Demonstrate the ability to match nouns to their adjectives of colours.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify colour adjectives in Arabic and sort them by gender (masculine and feminine forms).
  2. Match singular masculine nouns to their correct masculine colour adjectives (e.g., كَلْبٌ أَسْوَدُ, قَمِيصٌ أَبْيَضُ).
  3. Match singular feminine nouns to their correct feminine colour adjectives (e.g., سَيَّارَةٌ بَيْضَاءُ, حَقِيبَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ).
  4. Complete noun-adjective pairs correctly in number and gender, choosing the right colour word from a given list.
  5. Construct short phrases using a noun and a colour adjective that agree in gender, and say them aloud with correct pronunciation.
