Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.3.2.1.4 - Show the ability to use appropriate strategies to gather information from a piece of text about the types of transport and their uses.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read a short Arabic text about types of transport (وسائل النقل) with correct pronunciation and reasonable fluency.
Extract the literal meanings of key transport-related words from the text and match them to their Arabic equivalents.
Identify and list at least five new vocabulary items from the text about transport and their uses.
Answer comprehension questions about the types of transport mentioned in the text and what each one is used for.
Produce a brief summary (ملخص) in Arabic of the main ideas in the text, using simple sentences.
