Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.2.1.4.4

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. State at least five Arabic words or phrases for spontaneous emotions (joy, surprise, sadness, fear, anger) with correct pronunciation.
  2. Use learnt vocabulary to express a spontaneous emotional reaction in a simple sentence.
  3. Respond appropriately to an unexpected situation or statement with a suitable emotional expression in a short dialogue.
  4. Identify the correct emotional word or phrase when heard in context during a listening activity.
  5. Produce two or three sentences describing how they felt in a recent real-life situation (for example, receiving good news, missing a trotro, or an unexpected rainstorm).
