Learning Objectives
Indicator: B8.1.2.4.1 - Demonstrate communicative skills by engaging in exchanges of greetings and their appropriate responses.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and pronounce correctly at least six daily and seasonal greetings in Arabic.
- Match each greeting with its appropriate and culturally expected response.
- Engage in a role-play exchange of greetings, swapping roles as initiator and responder.
- Distinguish between formal and informal greeting contexts based on the time of day and the person being greeted.
- Evaluate a greeting exchange and correct inappropriate or mismatched responses.
