Learning Objectives
Indicator: B8.1.2.1.4 - Produce names of different types of clothes from a text read in class. For eg. shirt, shorts, sweater, skirt, blouse and jacket.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify by name at least eight different types of clothes in Arabic when they hear them in a short text read aloud.
- Match spoken Arabic clothing vocabulary to pictures of the corresponding garments.
- Produce the correct Arabic names of clothes when shown a picture or a real item of clothing.
- Extract the names of clothes from a short paragraph read by the teacher and list them in writing.
- Use the names of clothes in simple spoken sentences such as: أَرْتَدِي قَمِيصًا (I wear a shirt) when responding to questions about what someone is wearing.
