Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.1.2.1.3 - Demonstrate ability to recognise the names of fruits and vegetables such as mango, orange, pineapple, watermelon, onion, tomato etc. from phrases and simple sentences

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify at least six fruits (mango, orange, pineapple, watermelon, etc.) and four vegetables (onion, tomato, cucumber, pepper, etc.) when heard in phrases and simple sentences.
Reproduce the names of fruits and vegetables correctly in Arabic when prompted by the teacher in an audio or reading exercise.
Match spoken descriptions (fresh, delicious, imported, green, ripe) to the correct fruit or vegetable based on context clues.
Respond to simple “What is this?” and “What do you want?” questions using fruit and vegetable names in short Arabic sentences.
Distinguish between fruit names and vegetable names when they appear together in a single spoken sentence.
