Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.4.5.1.2 - Apply the handling and maintenance of basic and simple agricultural tools in their community.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Demonstrate the correct handling of at least three basic agricultural tools (cutlass, hoe, and rake) during a practical session.
- Apply the basic maintenance rules (cleaning, drying, oiling, and proper storage) to agricultural tools after use.
- Write a short report on the handling and maintenance practices observed on a farm visit or from a demonstration.
- State at least five operational rules for handling agricultural tools safely and correctly.
- Justify why regular maintenance of agricultural tools is important for their durability and effectiveness.
