Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.2.4.1.2 - Show the differences and similarities among domestic animals.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Classify common domestic animals found in their community into ruminants, monogastrics and poultry.
- Give at least three examples of animals that belong to each of the three groups: ruminants, monogastrics and poultry.
- State at least three differences among ruminants, monogastrics and poultry based on their digestive systems and feeding habits.
- Identify at least two similarities shared by all three groups of domestic animals, such as being domesticated by humans and providing products for human use.
- Use a simple table or chart to compare and present the differences and similarities among the three groups.
