Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.1.1.1.1 - Classify materials into liquids, solids and gases
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Sort at least 10 materials collected from their environment into solids, liquids and gases with 100% accuracy.
- Complete a table recording the texture, appearance, colour and shape of at least 5 different materials.
- State at least two distinguishing properties of each state of matter (solids, liquids and gases).
- Give at least three examples of solids, liquids and gases found in their own homes, school or community.
- Explain, using their own words, the difference between how particles behave in a solid, liquid and gas.
