Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.1.1.1.1 - Explain the nature of God through His attributes in the three major religions

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify at least six attributes of God (omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, love, patience, creator) in their own words.
  2. Explain the meaning of each attribute of God using simple, clear language in English and, where possible, in their local language.
  3. Match the attributes of God to their meanings correctly, using examples from Christianity, Islam, and African Traditional Religion.
  4. Write a short paragraph or essay describing at least three attributes of God and present it for class discussion.
  5. Show respect for how different religions in Ghana describe the nature of God through His attributes.
