Indicator: B7.3.1.3.1 - Demonstrate command and use of compound sentences
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Construct independent clauses that express complete thoughts.
- Join two or more independent clauses using coordinating conjunctions (and, but, or, so) to form compound sentences.
- Identify the independent clauses in a given compound sentence.
- Combine two short sentences into one compound sentence using the most appropriate conjunction.
- Use compound sentences correctly in writing and speaking.
