Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.2.1.2.3 - Interpret a non-literary text showing personal responses and supporting responses with textual evidences
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read a non-literary text and state the main idea in their own words.
- Identify specific words or phrases the writer used to express attitudes, opinions, or facts.
- State their personal response to a text (agree, disagree, feel happy, feel concerned, etc.) and explain why.
- Support their personal responses with at least one direct quote or reference from the text.
- Compare two different viewpoints on the same issue using evidence from the text to explain the difference.
