Indicator: B7.1.3.1.1 - Produce pure vowel sounds (short vowels) in context

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify and pronounce the seven short vowel sounds: /i/ as in sit, /e/ as in bed, /a/ as in cat, /o/ as in hot, /u/ as in put, /uh/ as in cup, and the weak schwa /ə/ as in about.
Distinguish between the short vowel sounds when hearing words spoken by the teacher.
Articulate short vowel sounds clearly in single words and short phrases.
Use short vowel sounds correctly when speaking in simple classroom conversations.
