Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.1.2.1.2 - Listen to, discuss ideas and share opinions from a level-appropriate text
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Listen attentively to a short text read aloud and note at least three key points from it.
- Discuss the key points identified with a partner or small group, using complete sentences.
- Share a personal opinion about an idea from the text, beginning with phrases such as “In my view…” or “I think…”.
- Give one reason to support an opinion they share about the text.
- Respond respectfully to a classmate’s opinion by agreeing or disagreeing politely.
