By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State the five evaluation techniques (Accuracy, Credibility, Content, Current, Functionality) used to judge a web page.
- Explain what each of the five evaluation techniques means in simple terms.
- Apply the five techniques to evaluate a given sample web page and give a reasoned judgement.
- Use a simple checklist to compare two web pages about the same topic and decide which one is more reliable.
- Justify their choice of one web page over another using at least two of the evaluation techniques.
