Indicator: B7.1.2.1.6 - Create a component from disposed computer parts.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Collect at least three disposed computer or electronic parts from their homes, schools, or communities and sort them by type (e.g., wires, keyboards, mouse, casing, circuit boards, keys, screens).
Explain how a collected component can be repurposed to create a new useful object, drawing on the recycling ideas seen in earlier lessons.
Assemble a simple, functional component (for example, a pen holder, key rack, lamp shade, or nameplate stand) from disposed computer parts using safe tools and materials.
Present the created component to the class, describing the original computer part used and the new function it now serves.
State at least one environmental benefit of their creation, connecting it to the responsible practices discussed in Week 7.

sub strand name - printed 'INTHE' with no space. The JHS document never prints the spaced form, but NaCCA's own primary Computing curriculum names the same sub-strand 'TECHNOLOGY IN THE COMMUNITY' (b4/b5/b6-computing.csv). sub_strand_name becomes the lesson topic a teacher sees, so the missing space is closed.
