By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define the term “successful entrepreneur” in their own words, using at least two key features from the definition.
  2. List at least six characteristics of a successful entrepreneur from the provided exemplars.
  3. Distinguish between personal qualities (e.g., creative, optimistic) and action-oriented skills (e.g., goal setting, information seeking) of successful entrepreneurs.
  4. Explain, with a specific local example, how any three characteristics work together to help an entrepreneur succeed.
  5. Assess a given business scenario and identify which entrepreneurial characteristics are present or missing, giving reasons for their judgement.
