Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.5.2.1.2 - Generate ideas
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Generate three distinct possible ideas through freehand sketching to solve a given design problem stated in the design brief.
- Write descriptive notes for each of the three sketched ideas, explaining what the artefact is, what materials will be used, and how it solves the problem.
- Compare the three generated ideas against clear criteria to verify which ones satisfy the requirements of the design brief.
- Select the best design and draw it in a pictorial form with suitable dimensions.
- Prepare a simple working drawing (front elevation, plan and end view) of the selected design for communication purposes.
